Hi 9th Grade Team,

Quick note that I applied for LGBTQ Writers in Schools program, and we received a match with author visit from Mariama Lockington, and free copies for all grade 9 of In the Key of Us, her incredible book.

Devin, Lauren, and Team 9: We can check in regarding how to preview or incorporate the book for 9th graders because the visit is most rich when students know the book.

She will be hosted by 9th grade at the start of Pride month Friday June 2, Period 5 in the gym, and we can discuss how to include some BSU and GSA students from other grades if possible.
